When you leave the big city and start a new life elsewhere in Coral Island, other people may feel inclined to follow suit. Not because they’re tailing you, everybody has their own reasons when it comes to leaving what hippies call today, “the concrete jungle.”

Talking to other people about why you left the city is a great way to make friends on the island, and can potentially lead to something even bigger. But first, we need to know the person more, and that person is Surya. Find out where he hangs around in this guide to unlock all of his heart events!

How To Marry Surya Guide

Surya is a marine biologist, but that doesn’t mean you’ll find him battling stingrays on your first week. He likes to stay at the Laboratory during the first half of the day every day, well almost.

The only time his schedule gets any noticeable changes is during the weekend or if it’s raining or snowing. In that case, you’ll just find him at home or at the beach playing volleyball.

In order to get jiggy with Surya (or any of the characters), you’re going to have to maximize your friendship levels with them first. You can do that by giving gifts they like or saying the right words.

Surya loves five things: Melon, puffferfish, wild mushroom polenta, herbed tempeh, and lodeh. Give him any of these when you can, and the heart events will start coming up.

Heart Events Guide

You’re going to need five hearts with any character if you want your relationship to go anywhere. To do that, you need to witness each of their heart events.

Knowing how to get their heart events means figuring out their schedules and hanging out with them. Surya’s first heart event will be at the Carpenter.

Both of them will be here on Saturday’s and Sundays between 9:00AM to 2:00PM. You’ll see Dinda making full use of Surya’s marine biology degree by asking him to fix her TV.

A rookie mistake, she should ask help from one of the Doctor’s instead.

Second Heart Event

Visit the Carpenter again for the second heart event. You have the same window for time just like the first heart event.

The only difference is you being able to trigger the event on any day instead of just the weekends. If you check your progress, you should be at three hearts by now.

Third Heart Event

For the third event, you’ll need to go to Fishensips. You can visit Surya here on any day, just make sure you get there before the clock strikes twelve.

By midnight, he would’ve already left, because pubs need to close for the evening as well.

Fourth Heart Event

Your next heart event destination is the Ranch. Surya can be spotted here on any day as long as you visit between 8:00AM and 5:00PM. Here, he plans to move into an unused space inside of the Ranch.

A bold decision, considering that his corner doesn’t even have any windows. The rest of the event will have his extended family guilt trip him for his decision-making skills.

Fifth to Seventh Heart Event

The last three events that will lead up to marriage will have you visit Surya at the Carpenter three times.

He’ll be going back and forth between trying to find another place to live or questioning the work ethic of his relatives. An average day in the southeast.

Thankfully, his relatives get the message and witnessing all of this will get you to eight hearts. Visit the Carpenter any day between 9:00AM and 2:00PM to see all this unfold.

Coral Island Surya Heart Event

Finish all of the heart events and you’ll be able to talk to him at the Beach starting at 8:00PM.

Just make sure you don’t visit him during the winter, nobody does that. After finishing this scene, you can get married and have kids in that order.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
