There have been some changes happening in Cursed Arena with its new update with new content and changes to the game. The character Yuta or as the game calls him “Cursed Apprentice” just got a bunch of new moves.

Not only that but you also get to see the new awakening moves as well as some cool animations to boot. In this guide, we’ll go through all of the moves Yuta has in the game as well as give you some combos!

Yuta Moveset Guide, Combos & Showcase

There are a lot of moves that you’ll need to learn from Yuta since he has two sets of moves. One is his base move set where which you shouldn’t take for granted. Some great combos can be made with just the base move set.

SIDE NOTE: If you don’t have Yuta yet or any of the other characters then go check out our detailed guide on how to get all the characters in the game!

Then there’s the Awakening move set that you get after you activate your Ultimate Mode with the G-key. Doing so will give you a new set of moves and a cool animation to accompany it.

Yuta Base Moveset

The Base move set of Yuta is what you’ll mostly use in the game. Mastering these moves can quickly let you deal a lot of damage since it’s easy to combo. There will be more combos later but for now here are the moves you get.

Cursed Slashes

This move makes you do 3 slashes in front of you that deal more damage than your basic M1 attacks. The move can be used after doing basic attacks or abilities for a combo.

Deadly Path

After a quick windup you teleport forward and do a slash at an enemy. It’s a great way to get into range for more attacks or to get to an enemy after they ragdoll away.

Blitzblade Strike

You teleport to an area you aim at and do a quick strike with your sword. If you hit an enemy with this attack, it can ragdoll their character.

Blitz Breaker

This move has a lot of attacks and makes you move forward. When you catch an enemy with this move, you’ll attack him multiple times before sending him to ragdoll away from you. The move ends with a slam that you’ll need to aim to maximize damage.

Yuta Awakening Moveset

The new update (Domain Clashes) has brought more moves for Yuta. This is the move set that you get after you activate your Ultimate mode which is the Awakening for Yuta. You’ll get a cool animation and a new set of moves to use for the mode’s duration.

Exterminate

When you activate this move you rush forward and ‘catch’ a target with you. You deal damage to the target the entire time.

Harrow

You slam the ground 3 times create 3 massive shockwaves and create destruction effects on the ground. This move doesn’t lock the enemy down so make sure to aim the slams properly for maximum damage.

Beam

You fly up into the air and charge up a beam that you shoot down directly below you. The beam can hit multiple targets and has a wide area to work with.

Cursed Speech

You pull out a megaphone and shoot out a cone-shaped shockwave in front of you which can damage multiple targets.

Yuta Combos

Now that you know all the moves why not go and try out these Yuta combos in PVP:

  • M1 x3 + Cursed Slashes + M1 x3 + Blitzblade Strike + Deadly Path – This is a simple combo that you can try out when you’re new to the character.
  • M1 x3 + Front Dash + M1 x3 + Cursed Slashes + M1 x3 + Front Dash + M1 x3 + Blitz Breaker + Blitzblade Strike + Deadly Path – This is more of an intermediate combo that you can try. The dashes are where you dash away and quickly turn your camera back to attack the target again.
  • M1 x3 + Front Dash + M1 x3 + Cursed Slashes + M1 x3 + Down Slam + Back Dash + Deadly Path + Blitzblade Strike + Blitz Breaker – Similar to the combo above this one only needs you to dash once.
  • M1 x3 + Side Dash + Front Dash + M1 x3 + Cursed Slashes + M1 x3 + Side Dash + M1 x4 + Downslam + Blitzblade Strike + Side Dash + Blitz breaker – This is a more advanced combo that you can try and use. The dashes reposition your character and get close to the enemy to continue to combo.
Cursed Arena Yuta Beam

Here are some combos you can do when you have your Ultimate Mode:

  • M1 x3 + Front Dash + M1 x3 + Exterminate + Harrow + Cursed Speech – This is a simple combo where you use Cursed Speech if Harrow doesn’t hit a second time.
  • M1 x3 + Front Dash + M1 x3 + Down Slam + Back Dash + Harrow + Cursed Speech – This one uses some dashes to position your attacks properly and is a bit harder.

Those are all the moves and combos that you can use with Yuta in Cursed Arena. Now, go out there and try this character out! If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
