In Z Piece, there are a bunch of abilities and buffs that you can learn if you know where to look. This includes both the Armament and Observation Haki, which you can get by simply buying them off certain NPCs. In this quick guide, we’ll show you how you can acquire both of them!

How to Get Haki Guide

All you need to do is to grab a ship from the Starter Island and head your way over to the Marine Island, just slightly northwest. Before you go there, make sure you have at least 1,250,000 Beli on hand.

Armament Haki

First up, once you make it to Marine Island, just run up north into the town and head into the first building you’ll see above the hill.

Inside will be the Armament Haki NPC, who will offer to teach you this technique at the cost of 500,000 Beli.

By default, activating Armament Haki is done by pressing the J button. This increases your damage with swords and fighting styles, and it can counter the Logia mechanic that some fruit users will have.

Observation Haki

After exiting the building where the Armament Haki NPC was, just continue up the hill and jump to the top of the building to your right. The Observation Haki NPC will be right on the roof.

Unlike the previous one, this will be slightly more expensive at 750,000 Beli. Activating it will show you highlights of enemies through walls. Supposedly, normal attacks won’t affect you either.

And that is everything you need to know in order to unlock the two different types of Haki in Z Piece. If you are looking for more combat options, consider checking out our guide on how to get the Flame Arrow spec!
