Mastery is one of the key components to thriving in the game and we will tell you how to rank up your mastery in The First Descendant.
How To Rank Up Mastery
Leveling up your mastery rank in First Descendant is imperative if you want to increase module capacity space. You will need your Master Rank up for the largest power increases and other important character components.
Ranking Mastery gives you unique features like ability enhancements, specific locations and weapon readjustments. Naturally, knowing all of this, you’d want a way to immediately rank up Mastery. Keep Reading and we’ll tell you how.
Gaining Mastery Experience Points.
To rank up your Mastery and take advantage of all of the cool and useful buffs, you’ll need to gain mastery experience points first. Here are ways you can do that:
- You gain mastery XP as you progress in the game.
- You gain mastery XP as you complete missions for the first time.
- You get it when you increase your weapon proficiency.
- You also get Mastery XP when you raise your descendants level.
You can view your mastery progress toward your next mastery level in your Inventory, just below your descendants level.
Now, let’s see how you can use your Mastery XP to rank up.
Increasing Mastery Rank
In order to rank up your mastery, you’ll need to return to Albian and visit the Prime Hands.
You can find the prime hands in the east portion near the mailbox and the special operations terminal. When you visit the location, you should also see the icon for prime hands terminal highlighted for you.
Also, when you max out your first Mastery level, you should receive a request to visit the prime hands where the location will be highlighted on the map for you to find. So, activate the terminal and then you should get an option to Rank up your Mastery.
Leveling this rank doesn’t cost anything as long as you have enough experience to use it.
Special Operations
Special Operations is the key piece to help you level up your Mastery and your descendants. When you reach a certain point in the game, you get to unlock Special Operations. For instance, there’s one in Kingston called “Defend Albian Resource”. Here, you and 3 other players will have to defend an object against waves of enemies.
After every 3-4th wave, you’ll get multiple rewards and a choice to continue or go back to Albian. Completing the 7th wave (where you gain additional rewards) will give you around 5000 Mastery Points. Your points vary based on your performance.
All of your weapons gain proficiency level even if you didn’t use them and the one you use will naturally gain the most XP.
So, ensure that you take advantage of the Special Operation if you want your mastery level ranked up faster! To learn more about the game, check out some of our other guides like this one on How to Kill DeadBride Complete Guide!
