Memorizing maps can be tough, I know it was tough on me. I’ve played with Military Simulation clans in Arma 3 back then and we did as much land navigation using maps as shooting. The reason for that is information is the key. There’s a saying that may have originated from World War 2 and that is “The most dangerous thing in the world is a Second Lieutenant with a map and a compass.” Learning where the enemy might be, where you need to be and possible exits are all great information to know. In this guide we’ll show you how some notable locations for Loot & NPCs Spawns on each map in Lost Light.
Loot & NPCs Spawns In Lost Light: All Maps Guide
So, when you go inside a raid in Lost Light there are certain areas in the map that can spawn loot. But like people, not all loot spawns are created equal. There are certain areas that you need to keep an eye out when going for rare loot. Although sometimes these places are also spawns for Elite Marauders which are tougher AI Marauders.
Remember that loot and NPC spawn is random, It depends on your luck if there’s actual loot there or a Marauder. There may also be other players in the map that have already gotten the loot way before you got there so keep that in mind.
BAF Factory
As you can see there’s an area to the south with all kinds of uncommon and rare loot so you should keep that in mind. That also means there’s a chance an Elite Marauder will spawn there, or worse more players will try to get there to claim the loot for themselves.
Mt. Akiyama
The center of the map in the Villa is where all the good loot is, that’s also probably where most of the players and marauders will be so keep that in mind and weight the costs of going there. There is also a GPU spawn in the map but it requires a keycard.
Windswept Harbor
This map can be quite hectic due to the high amount of NPCs including Elite Marauder spawns so stay alert when going to those areas. There’s also only one place where you can actually get rare loot but most of the time you’ll have to go through NPC infest areas to get there.
ARK Company
Another map with a valuable GPU spawn as well as chances of Legendary loot, the catch is that Elite Marauders are in the area as well as the Boss NPC Raymond, but if you’re up for the challenge you can try getting those legendary loot in there.
Reminder that this map also has the underground area and that’s where Raymond is so keep that in mind and plan accordingly, it’s pretty tight down there.
