Weapons are everything in Verse Piece—they define your playstyle, shape your combat strategy, and can be the difference between dominating or getting wiped out. I’ve spent countless hours testing weapons, grinding for the best gear, and facing off against tough enemies, so I know just how important it is to have the right one in your hands.
Whether you’re taking on powerful bosses, crushing the competition in PvP, or farming efficiently, your weapon choice matters. In this guide, I’ll share everything I’ve learned—how to get weapons, how the tier list works, and which weapons truly stand out. Let’s dive in and find the perfect weapon for you!
Complete Weapons Guide & Best Weapon Tier List
Weapons in Verse Piece can be acquired in several ways, depending on their rarity and strength. Here’s how you can get them:
- Buying from Shops – Some weapons are available for direct purchase using in-game currency.
- Completing Quests – Defeat bosses or complete specific missions to earn powerful weapons.
- Gathering Materials & Crafting – Some weapons require rare drops or crafted components.
- Event Rewards & Special Drops – Limited-time events and hidden bosses may drop exclusive weapons.
Now that you know how to get them, let’s break down how I ranked the weapons in the game.

Best Weapon Tier List (All Weapons Ranked from Best to Worst)
The weapons in my tier list are ranked based on several key factors, including damage output, versatility, cooldowns, speed, and special abilities.
- Damage output measures how much damage each move deals, including M1 attacks and skills.
- Versatility assesses how well a weapon performs in different scenarios such as PvP, PvE, and farming.
- Cooldowns and speed play a crucial role, as faster attacks with shorter cooldowns are generally more effective.
- Finally, special abilities and passives like lifesteal, burn, or multi-hit combos add extra utility that can make a weapon stand out.
After the addition of Uraume Rerun, I’ve made some changes:
- Toji drops out of the top 5 due to long cooldowns.
- Zenitsu takes the fifth spot—a solid weapon but not exceptional.
- Stark V2 moves below Sid V2. While Stark V2 has great damage output, I personally prefer Sid V2’s cooldowns and overall utility.
- Sun Jinwoo & Lancer remain the top swords.
If you prioritize pure damage, Lancer is the best weapon. But if you consider M1 damage, number of moves, and range, Sun Jinwoo takes the edge. Since I rely on M1 attacks, Sun Jinwoo suits my playstyle better.
Either way, both weapons are top-tier, and the choice ultimately comes down to personal preference.

S+ Tier
These are the strongest weapons in the game, dominating both PvE and PvP.
- Sun Jin-Woo’s Blades – This blade slightly edges out Starrk due to its insane versatility and consistent high damage output.
- Fast, powerful, and excels in both PvP and PvE.
- Uraume Rerun Uram is one of the best support specs in the game, offering:
- Great damage output
- Stunning abilities with M1 attacks & moves
- When paired with a strong weapon, Uraume is incredibly effective. That’s why I highly recommend securing a copy during this rerun. To get Uraume, you’ll need 25 Ice Fragments.
- Sid v2 – While its nuke and atomic moves deal insane damage, its windup time slightly holds it back.
- Huge range and power, making it excellent for PvE farming and large-scale fights.
- Starrk v2 – This weapon is a damage powerhouse, delivering some of the highest raw DPS in the game.
- Devastating high-damage mode, making it one of the most feared weapons.
- Zenitsu’s Blade – Balanced cooldowns and high damage, making it one of the best all-around choices. Lightning-fast strikes with a respectable DPS output.
S Tier
These weapons are extremely powerful, only slightly behind the S+ tier due to minor drawbacks.
- Solemn Lament (Butterfly Sword) –Awakening Mode allows it to obliterate opponents, especially with a 1M+ Z move. Massive burst damage, great for boss fights.
- Toji v2 – While slightly weaker than Starrk v2, it still outperforms most weapons. Solid damage output and well-balanced for PvP.
- Red Mist Sword – This sword is a great alternative for Sid v2, with an Awakening Mode that boosts its power significantly. Great for PvP and PvE, packing serious damage.
- Kokoshibo Sword – Kokushibo’s sword takes the spotlight with a formidable four-move arsenal, delivering some seriously high damage.
- Alucard – While its raw damage isn’t the highest, its lifesteal ability makes it nearly unkillable when paired with the Vampire perk. Unmatched sustain, ideal for long fights.
A Tier
Still strong choices, but they fall short of S-tier dominance due to nerfs, cooldowns, or niche usage.
- Rowan Sword – Nerfed but still 796K Z move damage.
- Sid V1 – A step below Sid V2, but still powerful.
- Virgil Sword – Strong, but lacks S-tier burst potential.
- Shusui Sword – 1.5M Z move, making it great for farming bosses.

B Tier
Weapons that aren’t the best, but can still hold their own in the right hands.
- Maki / Split Soul Katana – Strong bleed effect, great with the Vessel race.
- Starkk v1 – Packing 132K M1 damage, a 531K C move, and other powerful hits
- Ichigo Sword – Balanced damage, but nothing game-breaking
C Tier
- Grimmjow Sword – A free sword with 243K X move damage.
- Rengoku Sword – Its burn effect gives it an edge over other swords in this tier.
- Inverted Spear of Heaven – With 141K Z and X move damage and an SE move at 159K, it surpasses Saber and Yoru.
- Excalibur Sword – While its 168K Z move and 221K X move are powerful, it falls short of top-tier weapons.
- Kashima’s Pole – Though its 106K Z & X move damage might seem underwhelming, its 159K C move gives it the edge over Saber.
- Saber Sword – A step above Yoru, delivering 97K M1 damage, a 150K Z move, and an X move that smashes for 212K.
- Yoru Sword – With 97K M1 damage, a 132K Z move, and an X move dealing 115K, it’s decent, but it still gets outshined.
D Tier
- Katana – A rare rarity sword, but its M1 attack deals only 70K damage, while its Z move hits for 79,500. With these numbers, it’s easily the worst sword in the game, making it a clear pick for the lowest tier.
