There are some points in the game where whatever you do you won’t be able to get inside or pass them. That is the cave with the green shiny shields in Nioavellir. Well in this guide you shall find out how to destroy this wall and get to the other side where the collectibles are. Let’s get started.

God Of War Ragnarok – How To Break The Green Shiny Shields In Nioavellir

Once you get to the Dwarven Town of Niovellir you will have a lot of collectibles to pick up as well as chests to find. Some of them though will be well hidden behind an unpassable wall on the very dock. That wall is the Shiny Shields.

You cannot do a lot of things when it comes to breaking them, in terms of striking them with your axe or bow. Instead, you will have to progress through the story long enough.

Once you will progress with the story you will get a certain type of unlock and a new item that Atreus can use for his bow. So just walk up these stairs and talk to these NPCs here that will advance you through the main storyline.

Once you will pass those quests and get the upgrade the Atreus needs you can go back to the shields and that wall. The game will also give you a tutorial on how to use it.

But simply you will have to approach it just hold L2 and then just press SQUARE to fire the arrow. This will be a special type of arrow that will crush through this wall. And that’s it, you will have passed it!

We hope that this guide has helped you out on how to get through that tricky Green Shiny Shields in the dock of Nioavellir. Have fun trying it out for yourself!
