Here, we shall show you where each of the chests can be located in the South Wing as well as how you can get to them with ease. Let’s get started and point you in the right direction.

Hogwarts Legacy – All Chest Locations in The South Wing

#1 Clock Tower Chest Puzzle

This chest you can find inside the Lower Courtyard just where the big clock is moving to the left and right.

You are going to need to walk on over to the door that’s locked beneath the clock and find out the symbol.

Once you know the symbol, simply look up behind the clock and find the suitable and same symbol above.

You now need to use Glacius and freeze the clock just in front of the symbol.

You can also try the same pattern in the picture above.

#2 Second Clock Tower Chest Puzzle

While you are at the same location, you shall need to use Confringo to start moving the clock again.

Get on the second floor and where the highlighted square is on the mini-map, will be another door with another chest.

See the symbol and wait for the clock to get to the appropriate location and then use Glacius again. Once you freeze it, the door with the chest behind will open up.

#3 Third Clock Tower Chest Puzzle

The third chest will be on the third floor just on top of where the clock is moving.

You can use the stairs to get there but first, you shall need to use Glacius on the same symbol shown above. Once you do so, the door will be open.

You can of course see the symbol first and then go back to the clock so that you’re sure you know at what time to freeze the clock.

#4 Fourth Clock Tower Chest Puzzle

For the last chest puzzle in this location, you will freeze the clock on the right side or the same as the symbol shown in the picture above.

Now just keep on climbing up to the fourth floor and while going up enter this door.

Enter the other door behind this door while on the staircase leading up and you will find the chest.

#5 Collection Chest & Page – Requires Lock Pick

This is the location where you need to come for this chest. It will be inside the Faculty Tower.

Once you get to this location you will need to run all the way up the floors and reach this door on the left just after the staircase.

Use Alohomora and get through the door.

Once inside the room, you will see a fireplace.

Use Glacius on it and then crouch and enter the tunnel behind it.

Now just keep on going up the stairs and explore the small room where you will find the chest.

#6 Collection Chest

This is the location of the final chest in the South Wing.

Simply get to where the player cursor icon on the picture above is and then head down with the spiral staircase.

You will come across a toad or a frog just beneath the staircase. Go on ahead and interact with it and after it swallows you, you’ll find the chest.

Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you out on what needs to be done in order to find all the Chests in the South Wing. Have fun looking for them yourself!
