With the latest update of Anime Card Battle, a new raid game mode was added, and it features an extremely tough boss with an unusual mechanic. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get the new Mahoraga card that is obtainable via the aforementioned game mode that was just introduced very recently.
How to Get Mahoraga (Raid Card)
Before we begin, I highly recommend going over to our more in-depth guide about Anime Card Battle’s new raid system and how to beat it to get the basics down. This article will mainly be about getting the new card.
First, head over to the raid shop, which can be found in the building with the “Raid Mode!” sign at the lobby area. This is immediately to your right as soon as you leave the main spawn zone.
There, you will find an NPC that is basically a legally distinct Kakashi from Naruto. If you speak to him, you can open the store and immediately find the Adaptive Titan reward.
Simply put, you will need 200 shards (not the green ones) to craft the new Mahoraga card. These materials can be acquired by dealing damage to the Adaptive Titan whenever he has spawned, which is roughly every hour or two.
You can only get around nine of these shards during each raid, and that is assuming that you can deal enough damage to the boss to even reach the final milestone. In total, you will need to do 23 raids to make one Mahoraga card, and that is assuming you can always reach the last reward tier.
There is really no way to speed this up. You just have to wait for raids and ensure that you can reach the top reward tier within the hour every single time. To do this, you need a decent deck.
Use your best cards to deal as much damage as possible and get the progress bar to move up a by a lot. If you don’t have a very good collection, I recommend using cards that have a health percentage effect. Examples of these include:
- Shade (1 in 10) – Reduces the enemy card’s health by 8%. Unsure if it is current or max.
- Fire Fighter (1 in 85,000) – Has a chance to apply a burn effect that will deal 10% of the enemy’s max HP.
- Cat Burglar (1 in 20,000) – On entry, it will steal 10% of the enemy’s max HP.
- Galactic Tyrant (1 in 10,000, Boss Card) – Will reduce the opponent’s HP and damage by 10% on attack.
You probably won’t reach the top tier with cards like these, but they are a decent option if you want to try to get some raid shards (both kinds) without those insanely rare cards.
Otherwise, take advantage of cards like Masked Leader and Nail Master if you have them with rainbow or gold borders. You just have to keep fighting the boss over and over again with your best damage dealers.
SIDE NOTE: Keep in mind that raid progress is individual, so others can’t help you. Also, leaving the server will restart your progress, so do not log out if you are trying to grind this. Avoid using Dual Swordsman as well, since he is bugged and will force you to reset the game.
That is pretty much all I can tell you when it comes to trying to get this card, which is honestly such a slog and almost nobody has it yet as of writing this. One final tip is that you should use the green raid shards for potions at the shop.
Boss potions and Corrupt potions can be purchased for some green raid shards. These will help you get some of the more elusive hard hitters, though of course, it’s still all RNG at the end of the day.
So, that wraps up this entire guide. While you are here, check out our guide on how to beat Muzan in Anime Card Battle as well. That was also added in the latest update, and beating it will provide you with more bonuses to your rolls. This should hopefully get you better cards to take on the raid boss with.
