In Coral Island, which is a farming simulator inspired by games such as Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley, there will be a lot of running back and forth between your farm and other points of interest scattered around the game world. Luckily, there are fast travel points that you can unlock as you progress through the game. Here’s how to get all of them!

How to Unlock All Fast Travel Points

First of all, to actually unlock the fast travel mechanic, you must wait until the “Mythical Dream” quest triggers. This occurs when you get a strange dream at a certain night during Spring, in your first year.

Following this, you will need to investigate one of the many sacred trees scattered around the island. These are the locations that you can visit to complete this step:

  • North of your farm, inside the forest.
  • In Starlet Town, right outside the laboratory.
  • West of the lake in the Woodlands.
  • South of your farm, right outside of the exit.

In the following day, after investigating one of the sacred trees, you will receive a letter in the mail. You will then have to meet with the Chieftain just to the left of your farm.

From there, you will be asked to meet with the Goddess at the Lake Temple. Upon completing this step, you will begin the Temple Offering quest, which you will have to complete to unlock the first few fast travel waypoints.

You should complete the Essential Resources one first, as it is the easiest offering to make and will only require a handful of resources that you probably already have.

Completing this step will unlock the fast travel waypoint at the temple and at your farm, giving you an easy way to come back and make more offerings later on.

For the rest of the fast travel waypoints, there will be certain objectives that you need to complete, with your only clues coming from the shrines themselves. We’ll go through each of these next.

Lookout

For the fast travel point at the Lookout point, all you have to do is make two more offerings at the “southern tree”.

To complete this, go to the first altar and complete the Spring Sesajen offering bundle, which only requires spring crops.

Hillside (Near the Carpenter)

To unlock this one, you will have to make two offerings to the “Forest tree”. To complete this, you will have to finish offerings at the second altar, which will have you catching certain fish and insects.

Hot Spring

This one will take a bit of time, though it is also a very straightforward fast travel waypoint to unlock. Basically, you will have to complete ten total offerings at the Lake Temple.

Cavern (Mines)

To unlock the fast travel waypoint beside the cavern, you will have to “reach the bottom of the earth.” This cryptic clue implies that you need to progress through the Earth mine.

Specifically, you need to reach level 15 of the Earth mine in order to unlock the fast travel waypoint. Take note that if you have already done so before beginning the quests tied to fast travel, you will have to revisit the 15th floor to unlock the shrine.

Diving Pier

For this one, all you need to do is activate a solar orb while diving. This is taught to you as you progress, so you can hit two birds with one stone if you have already started working on the fast travel waypoints by the time you reach this point of the game.

Woodlands (Near the Blacksmith)

This one is fairly simple but will require quite a bit of time to complete. To unlock this fast travel waypoint, you will have to catch 50 insects using the bug net.

Take note that catches will only count if you use the bug net. Also, your progress will only be counted after you unlock the fast travel ability.

Beach (Near the Abandoned Villa)

Similar to the previous one, this fast travel waypoint requires you to catch 50 fish using the fishing pole. They do not have to be unique fish, though this will still take a lot of time to complete.

Town

To unlock the waypoint right at the middle of Starlet Town, all you have to do is complete the first half of Sam’s Local Produce quest.

This step will require 50 bronze quality vegetables and 25 bronze quality fruits to complete.

Museum

For this one, you have to finish the Pickstarter Launch quest. This quest is initiated after completing the Museum Expansion quest, which requires you to donate 50 items to the museum.

Giant Village

To unlock the waypoint at the Giant Village, you will have to free two giants. This can be done by clearing both the Earth and Water mines.

Ocean Fast Travel Points

There are also fast travel points scattered throughout the different depths of the ocean. To unlock them, you will have to heal the ocean by activating solar orbs in each region.

For the Merfolk Kingdom fast travel point, you must simply progress through the game enough to be able to gain access to it. This will involve cleaning underwater areas and getting the upgraded diving suit from Ling.

And those are all of the fast travel waypoints that you can unlock in the current version of Coral Island. There will likely be more areas in the future as the game gets updated, so keep an eye out for any new regions that might contain fast travel points!
