The best way to farm is going to the Mission 9-6-2 and get to the boss as quickly as possible. Use the Mug Materia on it to get the “Golden Rolling Pin” which sells around 50,000 gil. You also get 20,000 gil for defeating the boss, twice if you also have the Precious Watch!

Now all you need to do is do this over and over again till you get as much Gil as you want!
