Crowz Squad Operation is a new, PUBG style, battle royale game that has mechanics both familiar and new.  It attracted players that loved the genre because of the unique way to win the game.

Much like the game that started it all, Crowz plays like an open battlefield, where you’ll be matched with other players or go with your friends to finish objectives and survive in the game.  If you’d like to know the basics to start enjoying Crowz, sit back and read this beginner’s guide!

Beginner’s Guide – Crowz Squad Operations

You’ll start the game by matchmaking with random players or forming a squad with your friends.  When you enter the game, you’ll be let into a loadout prep phase. You can choose your main and secondary weapons as well as different utilities you can use to match your playstyle.

You’ll then be flown into the battlefield on a helicopter. Much like PUBG, you can disembark anytime onto a place in the map by pressing the R key. Deploy your parachute once you choose the spot, pressing W to zoom down faster.

Item Drops and Rarity

You can upgrade and get better weapons and items by looting the battlefield. Scattered across the map are items ranging from gray to red in terms of rarity that you can grab by pointing your cursor until the item description appears and pressing F

Red will be the rarest and Gray being the most common.  This also applies to backpacks and can give you more inventory slots the rarer your backpack gets.

For item management, you can press tab at any time to check the contents of your backpack, you can then discard items you don’t need by right clicking on it while tabbed into the inventory menu.

Good items can also drop from crates that you will find scattered across the map, you can easily determine the rarity of the item because it will match the color of the crate you’ll find.

Danger Zones

Aside from other players, the most hazardous thing you can encounter in Crowz are the danger zones that would be where meteors will strike. These meteors will then spew toxic gasses that you either need to flee from, use a gas mask for a short amount of time, or give up your humanity in exchange for immunity.

You can be immune at a limited time to the toxin by finding the Zeta Virus and using it, but there’s a catch. Once you infect yourself, you’ll need to keep your bio meter up by killing enemies or getting qons to prolong your life.  Once your HP gets to 0 or you get killed, you will explode in an aoe that damages enemies and die.

All About Qons

The main objective in the game is to get points known as Qons that you can find either in solid form or gas form.

Solid form is self explanatory and can easily be gathered while the gaseous form can only be extracted with special equipment

The gas forms yield more Qon points so it’s always a good idea to get them. Although, extraction takes a long time and you’ll need to defend the extraction point from other players while it’s going on.

Qons can net you a lot of perks like gear and other services that will make the game easier for you.  The end goal is to get 100k Qons that will allow you to call an Evac Helicopter that, once boarded, will give the boarding team the victory.

Do note that once a helicopter is called the location of it’s landing point will be broadcasted across the whole map and anyone who boards the helicopter, even if they didn’t call it, will be the victor

You would need to fight for your right to board with other players and secure safety.

That’s all there is to it for the basics of the game!  All that needs to be done is to have fun and get good!
