What do you get when you borrow the names of two well-known nuclear bombs and convert them to shoulder-mounted catapults? That’s right, you get the Fat Boy!

This mobile rocket silo is capable of punching through any modern armor the western world throws at you, the only thing missing from it now are a few upgrades and the ability to let you jump higher.

Since the health of your limbs matters, pointing the cannon toward the floor and pulling the trigger is ill-advised.

A sensible thing to do however would be to scour the Testing Grounds to find more modifications!

Atomic Heart – Fat Boy Trap Mine Location

Every weapon in your arsenal has an upgrade available, and all you have to do is linger around each area a bit longer to find them. Easier said than done given that the Testing Grounds are massive but that’s what we’re here for.

In this guide, we’ll cut your search short and take you directly to the payload!

Your never-ending quest for answers and weapon modifications will take you to Testing Ground 10.

Climb up the log cabin and interact with the terminal that can be found on the second floor.

Zoom in to the camera shown in the image above to have a hidden elevator pop out of the pig pen across the cabin.

Take the elevator going down and make a left turn after getting out.

There’s room near the edge of the corridor with a console that you need to douse with foam, follow up with SHOK and the door behind that will open.

The next room will have a short puzzle where you have to put two orange orbs on top of the door to open it.

Use the first orb on the device attached to the ceiling and proceed to use SHOK on the magnets. That will drop a second orb you can use on the door, get the first one off the ceiling and reattach it to push on through.

The next room is significantly larger, the first orb is to your left so go ahead and throw that onto the ceiling and cast SHOK.

Promptly take the orb off and attach it to the mount on the right side of the room, use SHOK again to cross the platform that just got lowered.

Get to the second level of the same room and you will find the second orb attached to a container.

Throw that across, make your way back, and attached both orbs again to the door to move on to the next room.

Go through the narrow corridor and get the Lootyagin at the end for an Extended Magazine Upgrade for your Kalashnikov. The path ahead will be blocked so you will have to douse two more consoles with foam and SHOK them again in order to move forward.

The next room will present you with more platforming elements, move to the right and scale the containers to get to the catwalk. At the end of this, you will have to shimmy across using the bars that are highlighted in yellow.

Drop down to the crawlspace underneath those yellow bars and make a detour to your left for a PM – Collimator upgrade. The next door will lead to another magnetic puzzle room.

Jump to the platform on your right and use SHOK on the ceiling to turn the magnets red.

Hop on over to the platform in front of you and give the roof another tickle to lower the next red magnetic flooring. The sequence shown in the image above is what you need to follow to get to the red button that opens the door across the room.

After all of that jumping and dashing move to the platform next to the catwalk and lower the magnetic flooring one more time.

As soon as you get through the door, turn right and a Golden Lootyagin containing your Fat Boy Rockets will be waiting for you.

Now it’s your turn to jump around Comrade, good luck!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
