Here’s the deal: you’ll team up with Inkanak, deal with some tricky obstructions, and even get to try out Chasca for free.

Clear Out All 4 Obstructions Within The Site | The Night Before The Trial
This quest begins at the Flower-Feather Clan in Quahucan Cliff, Natlan. Start by chatting with Inkanak, who’s chilling on a wooden platform west of the clan’s location. Spotting the quest is a breeze—just look for the red quest marker at the northeast side of Natlan on your map. She’s the one who gives you the task of clearing obstructions, so don’t forget to say hi!
Tip: The map marker is your best friend. Don’t go wandering off into lava pits unless you’re looking for adventure (or free roasting sessions from the local hilichurls).
Heads-Up! Enabling Focused Experienced Mode will save you the headache of overlapping quests. Trust me—it’s going to make it easier for you!
Time to roll up those sleeves and clear the Flight Trial Arena! There are four obstructions to clear, and each one requires some clever problem-solving (and maybe a little firepower). Here’s the breakdown for each obstruction, their locations (you can see them on the map as well) and how to clear them:
Cautious Investigator
Below the wooden platform near Inkanak. Shoot the explosive barrels by the rubble. An Avatar of Lava will spawn—defeat it!
Confused & Doubtful Investigator
On the cliff opposite Inkanak. There’s an Indwell with a Tepetlisaur Spiritscone near the two investigators—use its skill to clear the obstruction.
Bold Investigator
Atop a small mountain in front of Inkanak. Call the explosive barrel balloon, shoot it mid-air to drop it on the target!
Curious Investigator
North of Inkanak, on a rocky ledge. Attack the sparkling weak points of the Solid Phlogiston or use Chasca’s skill.
