The new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have also joined the bandwagon of the open-world community. When we say open world, one of the first things we think of is adventure and travel.

Since this new game already has a vast area of regions on the map, you will be needing a source of transportation to get from one place to another. But unlike the previous versions, you will not be needing a certain type of Pokemon that knows how to fly to carry you around to a different area location.

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has the newest transportation feature called the Flying Taxi which allows you to travel from here to there by just accessing your map. This is already a big help for convenience. However, there is also a different way to easily cross one area to another.

Battle Leaping Trick To Get to Places in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

For this trick, you will be needing any of your Pokemons and any wild Pokemons around. The picture shown will serve as an example.

You can see that there is a land mass in the middle of this lake. However, you are not able to cross the river on your own. Luckily, there is a wild Pokemon in the river. What you have to do now is throw any Pokemon and trigger a battle.

After you have deployed your Pokemon, the position of the trainer will be at the back of your Pokemon. That being said, your character will automatically be displaced to the other area. Now, the choice is up to you now whether you want to go on with the fight or just run away.

You can freely use this trick in any situation that hinders your travel.

Another example is if you are walking on the side of a mountain and the path is impossible to cross.

As you can see, there are several wild Pokemons on the other side of the cliff. All you have to do now is to perfectly throw a Pokeball on the other side which will start a battle between these Pokemons.

When you perfectly throw your Pokeball, you will automatically spawn on the other side of the cliff behind your Pokemon.
