There are many easter eggs in Risk of Rain 2, and players often overlook them. Yet, one of the most recognized ones started as the Discord joke where members shared lots of frog pictures on meme channel, so the developers decided to add a frog to the game. It’s a glass frog AKA Froggy, and this is how you can find it.
Pet the Frog | Frog Easter Egg Location
If you wish to find this easter egg, you’ll need to reach Mithrix, the latest final boss in Risk of Rain 2 newest DLC, and defeat it.
Once he’s taken care of, just follow the rescue ship icon until you reach it. Don‘t enter the ship, just keep going.
Continue doing so, just keep going straight until you reach this area as shown in the photo below.
You’ll eventually reach the stairs in a bit, so just go down.
Down there, you‘ll reach this location where Froggy is located.
You‘ll now have an option to pet the frog, by pressing E. Once you pet the Froggy 10+ times, he’ll open a purple portal for you.
