Slap Battles Alchemist glove counters

The Alchemist Glove is a new glove in Slap Battles and we’re going to show you how to counter them. It’s been the latest glove that everyone’s using and can be quite the annoyance because you literally never know what might hit you.

We’re going to be focusing on the most annoying Alchemist potions in this guide. Credits go to Bilify on YouTube.

How To Counter Alchemist Glove

Alchemist has 16 potions that they can use craft. It has been one of the most OP gloves to use in the game with a wide variety of ways to dominate thanks to the different types of potions they can make. Not getting hit is ideal, but you can’t avoid them all the time.

Before we discuss specific potions, the best gloves that can counter most if not all of the potions are: Magnet, Golden, Phase, Elude, Boogie, and Rob. Honorable mention being the Voodoo doll because of the potential to troll other players!

Do note that these gloves are ideal against Alchemist, but not necessarily over other gloves. This guide will be on the specifics of how you can avoid or counter potions.

Slow Potion

The most perfect counter to Slow is the Dream. If you get hit by the potion, simply unequip and re-equip the glove and you’re good to go. A similar glove with this effect is the Hybrid on speed mode.

Followed up next by the Golden glove. Golden is a great glove to counter many, many debuffs from a lot of other gloves, including the potions.

Whether that’s before you’re thrown or after, you can negate the slow effect when using the Golden skill. Another instant negator is the Dominance inside the Area Dominance.

Jebaited and Phase are two great alternatives for getting away. The long animations will negate the slow effect by the time you’re back to normal.

There are other gloves that doesn’t remove the slow effect but has mobility that allows you to run if necessary.

Lethal Potion

One of the most powerful potions is Lethal Potion. And the best way to counter this is by not getting by it.

The Diamond glove prevents anything from getting to you, similar to the Golden glove when you’re using the ability. Similar to the Golden is the Phase and Rob gloves.

The Guardian Angel can save a friend getting hit by the lethal potion.

Explosion Potion

Rob, Phase, and Golden are, again, the top 3 best gloves to counter this. The Diamond and Megarock are two gloves that will make you completely invincible against the explosion.

Magnet, Fish, Cheeky, Adios, Jupiter, Hybrid are some of the gloves that do not remove but can reduce the impact. Kinetic is another glove that can uniquely reduce the momentum on activation.

Invincibility Potion

This is one of the strongest potions from Alchemist. The Swapper glove is a unique way to confuse them.

The way to do it is by running to the edge and swap places with them. Something that can counter them similarly is the Cloud by summoning the cloud to throw them off.

The other one is Pusher which can push away invincible players. There are better situations to ideally kill a player on invincible mode like pushing them over the edge. But if you’re getting ganged up, using this is a great way to quickly push them away and run.

Similar effect is the Rocky that can push them away, but it’s more for a trolling purpose because of the lack of consistency. Tableflip is similar.

Freeze Potion

Again, Golden, Rob, and Phase are three great gloves to counter the potion. The Defense potion is similar to the Megarock, however. If you’re too close on the edge, you can get slapped.

Gloves like Fish and Retro both can fling yourself away. But you can accidentally slide off the map, so be careful.

Power Potion

Gloves that can stall for time like the Shukuchi, keep them away, or even the Reverse glove to turn the knockback impact back to them.

A lot of gloves can work against this one which you mainly want to treat like a normal slap. Blocked will only work on their base slap but not if they start crafting more potions.

Paralyzing Potion

Hilariously, ZZZZZZZ or Sleeping glove works! You just wake up.

You’re also invincible against the Paralyze Potion with, again, Golden, Phase, Rob, and Cheeky in Cheey mode.

Adios is a great glove to teleport away when you’re paralyzed. Flop and Retro are also two gloves to fling yourself away.

NOTE: Cheeky gets bugged if you use the skill after getting Paralyzed. Similar result also happens with the Thor, although less worse.

Boogie would be able to keep them occupied for a bit.

Confusion Potion

Diamond and Megarock removes the Confusion potion effect and obviously, keeps other potions from hitting you.

Elude will force them to throw you another potion so they can slap you. Or if you’re overwhelmed, you can throw the Slapple or Boogie and figure out what you want to do.

Using Rob will keep the Confusion debuff but hey, you’re safe. Golden can still activate and you’re just worried about your controls at this point.

And those are some of the gloves great to counter the Alchemist glove in Slap Battles.
