The Open Beta period of The First Descendant is about to end. During this time, players have been given the opportunity to try out this unique third-person shooter. With up to other 3 players, you’ll go on different co-op missions, fight bosses and engage in various battles.

In the Crossplay Open Beta test phase, there is a number up to 11 base characters and 2 ultimate characters you can level and progress with. However, one thing a lot of you may be concerned about is whether you Beta Progress will carry over to the full release.

Will Beta Progress Carry Over To Full Release?

The First Descendant’s first beta began on Sept. 19, 2023, and will run until Sept. 25. 2023. According to the First Descendant’s Game Notice, your Beta Progress will not carry to the full release.

Instead, all game data will be reset to help improve the game based on test feedback and results.

Even though the progress won’t carry over to the game’s release, you can still enjoy the game and have fun with your friends if you want to.

Experiencing the open beta will also give you a thorough understanding of how the game works and how to progress when the full release comes out.

There is also an on-going log in event for you to receive some extra rewards as a token of gratitude.

You’ll only need to log in during the event period and you will receive the following rewards in the table down below.

For now, you can enjoy all of the character gameplay and contents while waiting for the final release. In the future, you may see new changes that give you extra perks for being a beta tester. For example, you can get unique achievements or exclusive items, which can be a really great thing!
