The first thing you need to do to get Voltstanding is to get to Elite Grade. You start out by killing hollows first to get to Grade 5. You can find this NPC on top of the castle in Wandenreich.

The way going up is quite simple as the path only splits up once. Go up the stairs from the very bottom, and make a right turn at the first chance you get. After that just make one more left turn to get to the top. Don’t go to the teleporter that you’ll see on the right side!

Once you get to the top you’ll be greeted by a familiar face. That should be Jugram but in the game he’s called Balance instead. If you can only see dots when talking to him that means that you haven’t reached a high enough grade yet to get Voltstanding.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
