Hide may be one of the rarest resources if you’re just starting out in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. In the procedurally generated world, there isn’t an exact spot where Hides will spawn. Especially in a new game, running around through different Fathom deep dungeons aren’t going to work. We’ll show you several ways available to get Hide in the game.
Where To Get Hide
Early game, the best place to get Hide is by hunting stags and animals around the Elf area which is about 220 fathoms deep.
They drop a few Hides and will be the only way you can do to get them early game. It takes time but, it’s your only way.
Yes, there is a better way to get Hide! Keep progressing with the main story which will then unlock a quest that allows you go deeper by fixing the Descent in Western Halls. This is going to the key to getting the Loom.
Using the Loom, you can process Hide Scraps into Hides, and then into Leather. You can also weave cloths with the machine. And possibly even more in the future as you explore the game further!
