It’s important to know how to use certain characters. Going in blind without the knowledge of how the character functions can lead to poor performance when playing (no, not FPS performance). Characters like Ottis require a bit of knowledge on how to work, as support characters usually don’t function the same and offer different things to the party. It’s great to have more choices and different characters, but that just puts more work to be done on the player. With this guide, we’ll teach you the simplest way to use Ottis.
Ottis Guide – Across the Obelisk
Ottis is a great character to have when going on defense and a bit of offense. He can cast shields on allies while also applying Sanctify to enemies. Sanctify works by affecting enemies. Hitting said affected enemy will then grant a 1 HP charge to the attacker.
Ottis is not very complicated to use, and is great for granting shields to attacking heroes like Heiner or Magnus. However, relying on the shield is not recommended. It will still get taken down after a certain amount of damage is taken. Combining Ottis with healers like Reginald however will prove to be a fruitful combination.

Apologies but that’s terrible advice, Sanctify has extremely high damaging and healing potential. Get Rid all of Ottis’s shields, load up of Sanctify cards, abilities, and items, and watch as your high damage team heals 50+ HP, per individual hit. For Multi-Hit attacks, you can heal literally hundreds of HP, not like you’d ever need to but still… Sanctify is so much more effective than shields and direct healing spells.
