Albion Online Beginners Guide to Fame Farming

Albion Online has a lot of things going for it. It’s an MMO, so naturally, it contains things that make the game have more longevity to keep its players more active. Fame is essentially Albion Online’s version of the XP system. It’s really no different to other XP systems other than its name. However, Fame can be tough to earn, even though you can do a lot of things in Albion Online. That’s why in this guide, we’ll show you how to farm Fame easily.

Beginners Guide to Fame Farming – Albion Online

Before we start, take note that this guide is for solo only. You will still need some required equipment and some zones to farm in.

This method of farming is not meant to be used for players with low currency. This is because the required gear is very hard to get and some of it is endgame gear. We also advise getting the Premium Subscription if you are a frequent Albion Online player, as it will help with the Fame farming. But, it is not a requirement if you do not want to spend real money on the game.

First off, you will need Elder’s Satchel of Insight. This piece of gear is great for holding gear, but it is mostly used for its buff, Combat Study. This buff will grant you an increased percentage chance of Combat Fame, which is the primary way of Fame farming here.

Once you’re set, you can begin the first method for farming Fame which is called the Open World Mob Farming. It’s quite simple, and easily the best way to earn Fame in the game. You simply go around and fight enemies and defeat them to earn Combat Fame. With the Combat Study buff, you will earn a lot more than what they normally give you.

So, you’re going to be running around fighting mobs in order to farm Fame. We advise having the Elder’s Thetford Cape, as this cape is perfect for auto-attacking mobs. It has a Chain Lightning buff, which activates when doing a normal attack. This means that your normal attack has an ability-like effect that chains a flash of lightning to all enemies near you, taking down multiple enemies in one attack.

With your cape and satchel, you should focus on farming Fame in the Yellow Regions. Farming in a Black Region will just make you prey in the many eyes of other players, which is a high risk for you and your gear. Instead, go to the Yellow Region and farm there with the satchel buff on.
