Genshin Impact: Searing Skies Quest Guide

With every update in Genshin Impact, they release a number of quests to keep the players busy for the next big update that includes new weapons, new items, but most of all, new characters. So, players pass the time by completing these quests, as well as collecting the free Primogems that comes with completing the side quests in the game. In this guide, we’ll help you complete the Searing Skies quest fast so you can collect those sweet Primogems and save them for the next character you want.

Searing Skies Quest Guide – Genshin Impact

Searing Skies is essentially an enemy rush, where you go through waves of enemies and fight them in order to win. The enemies you’ll be facing will be controlling the Cryo element, so you’ll need to bring in the heat to deal with these enemies.

Ideally, you’ll need Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Sucrose in your party to optimally beat this quest. The strategy is to use Xingqiu’s Elemental Skill then Burst. Afterwards, you quickly pop in Xigangling’s Burst.

Once those two are in cooldown, you’ll use Sucrose’s Burst, leading to Hu Tao’s Elemental Skill, followed by attacking with her charged attacks. When seven seconds have passed, use Hu Tao’s Burst to get maximum damage.

However, if you’re missing those characters, then don’t worry. It’s not necessarily a requirement to have those characters, it’s just the optimal way of doing this quest. What’s important is that you have characters that can induce Melt or Vaporize in the fight.

Use these characters and create the team that you are familiar with. It’s important to use characters you know how to use, otherwise you’ll end up doing more damage to yourself than to your enemies. Have two Main DPS in your team and one Sub DPS and one Support for the best results in fighting.

Now that you have your team and rearing to go, you’ll have to select the challenge first. We advise to select the Desperate challenge. Clearing the Desperate challenge will not only reward you with that levels rewards, but also the rewards in Quandary and Perilous. Don’t worry, we know that it’s intimidating, but follow the guide on how to fight and it’ll be a breeze.

When you press start, the enemies will immediately spawn in. You won’t have time to get ready, so be ready when you press start. Immediately start attacking with your character that can induce Melt or Vaporize to get that challenge done.

Pyro characters are key in this fight, so bring your strongest Pyro character into this. They will be your main source of DPS. You can use characters like Zhongli as your sub DPS, using his Elemental Skill to do damage over time in an area.

The powerful opponents you need to defeat in order to complete the challenges are highlighted by a glowing light above their heads. It is advised to go for them first as they are, obviously, more powerful. They are a bigger threat than the other enemies.

Keep attacking with your Pyro character, occasionally swapping to your sub DPS for more damage, and you will have melted and vaporized enough enemies to finish the challenge in under 180 seconds. You will then be rewarded with a Challenge Completed screen with three check marks on all challenges.
