Dune Awakening features various notable locations that help expand the lore of the universe. On top of that, these areas also add variety to the game and help players further progress in the game. At some point, you’ll need to get to Harko Village and Arrakeen – especially if you want to get to faction missions or unlock advanced skills. Having trouble actually getting to these locations? Not to worry, we have you covered! In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how you can get to these locations. Without further delay, let’s get into it!
How To Get To Harko Village & Arrakeen
Starting off, to get to Harko Village or Arrakeen in Dune Awakening, you’ll need to go to any of the central quest hubs – where you get the contracts from. Each area in Dune Awakening has this hub.
However, in the early game, the one you’ll be most familiar with is The Anvil, which you can find on the east side of the Eastern Vermillius Gap. So, head there.

When you arrive here, look in the corner near the entrance and you’ll find the Ornithopter Pilot. This is the same pilot that you need to talk to to complete the “Talk to the Ornithopter Pilot.” objective for the Wider World quest.
You can check out our ornithopter pilot guide for more insight on that.

Once you talk to the pilot, select the option ‘I want you to fly me somewhere‘ and you’ll be given multiple areas where you can fast travel to. This includes Harko Village and Arrakeen. Keep in mind that the service will cost you 2500 Solaris – which is quite expensive in the early game.
So, we recommend that you complete contracts so that you can get the money needed.
Later down the line, you’ll unlock flying which will allow you to fly to these social hubs without having to resort to the fast travel. However, you’ll want to get here well before that if you plan on progressing through the game.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get to Harko Village and Arrakeen in Dune Awakening. As you can see it is fairly simple and you’ll be able to get to these social hubs quite early on. Just try to finish contracts so that you have the solaris you need to give to the pilot. It’s the only way to get to these places without flying.
