New World: Complete Halloween Event Guide

MMORPGs in general usually have a lot of content the player can enjoy. Long-standing MMOs especially have so much content that it can get confusing for new players. Even with this amount of content developers also add more content in terms of seasonal events. Not only is this a treat for players in all levels of the game but also a great way to break the monotony most end-game players experience. These events keep things fresh, and in New World the Halloween Event is happening and, in this guide, we’ll show you what this event is all about!

Complete Halloween Event Guide For New World

So once you log in you’ll already see all of the festive designs in town for the Halloween event. What you’ll need to do to start the event is talk to an NPC called Salvatore. This NPC can tell you more about the lore behind the event and so on. If you pick the first option it’ll start a quest for the event.

After receiving a quest, you can then go to the map and look for the icon like the one on the image below. This is a world boss for the event that you need to defeat in the quest. If you’re having trouble looking for the world boss then feel free to ask in the world chat since most people often call out where the boss is so that more people can help take it down.

Once you’ve defeated the world boss, you’ll get a quest item that you then need to throw into the cauldron pictured below. This will give you some event tokens as well as a cache. After doing so you can then go talk to the NPC again to finish the quest and get another Cache.

In this event, you’ll get tokens which you can use as currency to buy stuff from the event store by talking to Salvatore. The store offers a bunch of cool cosmetic items as well as different weapon patterns.
