In Disney Dreamlight Valley, most of the quests you will be doing are mostly repairing and fetching items for characters. There are not a lot of variety in terms of quests just yet. However, there are some quests that explore the depth of some of these characters. Here, we have The Fragmented Past quest, a quest that looks into the past of our very own space ranger, Buzz Lightyear. In this guide, we will be focusing on helping Buzz find his past with this guide for The Fragmented Past quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley- The Fragmented Quest Guide
Go to the river in the Forest of Valor with Buzz and find the buried clue
In the first set of objectives after accepting the quest, you need to go to the river in the Forest of Valor. Once you reach the river, you will then have to find the buried clue that deals with Buzz’s past. Follow the river until you reach this spot on the Forest of Valor. There should be a sparkling spot that you can use your shovel to dig out the clue.
Talk to Scar and bring him Fish Soup and Tuna Burger
After getting the clue, you will then have to Buzz. This will lead you to talk to Scar regarding Buzz’s past. He then asks you to bring him food, specifically Fish Soup and Tuna Burger.
To make Tuna Burger, you will need:
- Tuna
- Onion
- Lemon
- Wheat
- Any vegetable
To make Fish Soup, you will need:
- Any fish
- Any vegetable
- Milk
Once you have both food items, bring them to Scar.
Search Scar’s cave for a piece of Buzz’s past
Once you have given Scar the food, he will then tell you that he and Buzz have a friendship together in the past, which Buzz does not believe. Scar will ask you to search for anything in the cave to prove it, which you do find proof in the form of a Star Commander Badge. Show it to Buzz, and the next objective will roll in.
Fish for the last clue in the river in Sunlit Plateau
The last clue can be found by fishing in the Sunlit Plateau river. Keep fishing until you get the Old Fishing Rod item. Once you have it, investigate the item and it will show that Buzz, Goofy, and Scar are well acquainted as they went fishing in the past.
Talk to Buzz and the quest will end.
