When playing a Holy Paladin there are a lot of things to consider in order to become the best. This guide is made strictly from looking at players’ play amount as well as the ranking system on best Paladin Pve and PvP wise throughout the world.
Best Race
For the Alliance, you will want to stick with the Humans. It is the best by far. Other races do not even come close to it so if you’re looking for the best alliance race for the Holy Paladin, human is the way to go.
The biggest thing about the Humans is the Will to Survive. It is basically a trinket that will allow you to get out of stuns and any effects that might affect your character.
For the Horde though, you will want to stick with the Blood Elf. Not only do they look amazing and fit the class very well but they have amazing passives which make the very strong.
The skill that they have that is simply amazing on a Holy Paladin is the Arcane Torrent.
Talents
Now once you’ve picked your best race to play with, the most important thing to go for are the talents. The best talent tree that you want to go for when playing the latest patch for the Holy Paladin is the Blessing of Wisdom Spec.
You will want to choose 51 in the Holy spec, while going for 20 in the Protection spec. This will give you a very good healing momentum but also have the survivability needed to outstand any type of attack that might be coming to you.
When combined you will be an unstoppable force of power. Do not forget to use movement combined with these talents. Run away when needed and fight when crucial.
Glyphs
There are certain types of glyphs that you must be using in order to be a better Holy Paladin. These are some of them:

- Glyph of Seal of Light
- Glyph of Seal of Wisdom
- Glyph of Turn Evil
- Glyph of Flash of Light
- Glyph of the Blessing of Kings
- Glyph of the Blessing of Wisdom

Stat Priority
You will need to stick in this order for stats with the Holy Paladin:
- Resilience
- Spell Power
- Mp5 + Haste
- Critical Strike
They are crucial when going for the best build ever. So make sure that you choose the gear that gives the most amount of these stats. Also, there are quite a lot of gems that you can use to get these numbers too.
Gear
Ideally, this is the armor that you want to be sticking to in order to be the best possible Holy Paladin.
When it comes to Gems, you will want to pick any types of Gems that will give you the most amount of the best Stats mentioned above. Look for the highest levels of them and place them wherever you can on your gear.
Professions
The best profession that you will want to take with a Holy Paladin is Jewlcrafting. This will give you extra Spell Power and extra Resilience from the passives that it offers. As you can see from the Stat priority above, they are the most important things for the Holy Paladin. That is why you’ll want to stick with Jewelcrafting.
Other than that, you will go for Blacksmith or Engineering. This is up to you.
