Animentals is a new fighting game on Roblox that brings together characters from various popular anime and manga franchises and pits them together in a thrilling fast-paced combat experience. It is relatively new, and there are a few things that players need to know when they first hop on to the game. With that said, here are some tips and tricks for new players.

First up, you should check the settings for the basic controls. This will also help you figure out whether or not you need to change keybinds to a more comfortable setup based on your personal preferences.
Also, if you are running a lower-end computer, you should turn on Fast Mode to maximize the game’s framerate.
The Ingame Shop
There are various things you can purchase in the ingame store. One of them is Elementium¸ which has a variety of uses, including ranking up or crafting new characters. You will require a lot of this in the long run.
You can also buy food in the store, and this is another essential resource used in increasing your characters’ levels and stats.
There are also various emotes that you can buy, though these are completely optional. The Perks tab contains all of the game’s passes, and these will cost you Robux instead of ingame currency.
Missions
In the lobby, you will also find the mission board, which has a list of quests that renew every few minutes (with an optional instant renew mechanic).
It is important for you to do these, especially early on, as these will help you stock up on experience, coins, and food.
Characters
As of writing this, the game has a total of nine characters that you can unlock, and in order to get them, you will need to roll at the cost of coins.
There is a small chance of getting either a 3-star or 4-star character, though there is a pity system that will allow you to guarantee a 3-star drop after 75 rolls.
In addition to rolling for higher tier characters, you can also craft them using Elementium. This will require you to sacrifice a certain number of characters, however, and the chances only increase as you put up high tier units.
Each character in the game has its own unique element, and there is a sort of rock-paper-scissor mechanic involving all of the types.
To figure out which elements are stronger or weaker against one another, refer to the image below. Also, try to memorize what each character’s element is, so you’ll know who to avoid and who to fight out in the field.
Also, in order to level up your characters with food, simply go to your inventory and select the unit that you want to upgrade. From there, just click on the feed button until you are satisfied with their level.
And that’s all you need to know to get started in Animentals! To get into the actual meat of the game, just walk up to the cannon and press E, and from there, you can start brawling with other players!
