A lot of games these days are going to the open-world route where they offer players massive areas to explore. This can be fun at times but a bit annoying when you’re looking for a specific place and don’t know where to start!

With the 1.4 update for Grounded, there are new Ant Queens that you can find around the game’s world. All of them will be deep inside their ant colonies and some of them can be confusing to navigate through.

In this guide, we’ll show you where all of the Ant Queens can be found in the game. We’ll navigate through the maze-like areas of the colonies to get to them. Now, let’s see where we’ll need to go!

All Ant Queen Locations Guide

With the Big 1.4 Update, the developers of Grounded added different Ant Queens that you can visit and give offerings to. You’ll want to find them first though and some of them are hard to get to because of their maze-like colonies. Here’s how you can get to them!

Red Ant Queen

When you enter the Red Ant Colony, you’ll want to stick to the left wall and continue down the path. You’ll enter the area shown below with roots all around the place as well as some worker ants. Stick to the left and follow the path.

You’ll then enter this big area that you can easily get lost in. Follow the path shown below where you go through the elevated area.

When you follow that path and go straight, you’ll see a dirt pillar with some roots. Behind it is the area you’ll need to go to.

Grounded Red Ant Queen Path 3

Once you follow the tunnel, you’ll get to the area shown below where there are glowing explosive fungi. Go to the right of the Fungi up the ramp and follow the tunnel on top.

Grounded Red Ant Queen Path 4

You’ll then get to this area as shown below where there’s a hole in the ceiling. Follow the tunnel where the arrow is pointing.

After a few seconds, you’ll get to the Red Ant Queen! You can then give her a Haze Chip as a Friendship offering.

Black Ant Queen

The next Ant queen’s colony is as confusing as the last one, so make sure you don’t get lost! To get to the Black Ant Queen, you’ll want to enter the colony and go down the winding tunnel. You’ll then reach an area with a hole in the ceiling. Go straight forward and follow the tunnel.

Grounded Black Ant Queen Path 1

You’ll end up at an open area, go stick to the right wall and jump down the ledge. Once down, you’ll find a path leading to some tunnels with lights.

Grounded Black Ant Queen Path 2

Head to the right of the tunnel with the lights until you reach the area with a building where the wires go.

Grounded Black Ant Queen Path 3

Instead of going to the building, go to the right and up the ramp to another tunnel. Continue following the path sticking to the left wall.

Grounded Black Ant Queen Path 4

Once you go through the tunnel, you’ll see another big open area. This time stick to the right wall going down a couple of ledges. You’ll find another tunnel entrance, follow that till the end.

Grounded Black Ant Queen Path 5

At the end of that tunnel is the Black Ant Queen, you can now go to her and give her a Sandbox Chip for a friendship offering!

Fire Ant Queen

The last Ant queen is easier to get than the last ones! To get to the Fire Ant Queen easily, you’ll want to go to the Yogi Swole Head wonder near the northeast corner of the map.

The head will be at the bottom of a chasm, so carefully go down. Once you’re at the bottom, look at the creepy head and then look to the left to see a tunnel.
