Untitled Trip has become recently available to play taking a lot of inspiration from Dusty Trip on Roblox. It is still in its alpha state but does some things different than what you would expect. So, if you’re new to the game, you might find it a bit weird at first.
So, in this beginner’s guide, we’ll go through how you can play the game. This includes setting up your car, finding food and dealing with combat. Without further delay, let’s get into it!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
Before we get into the guide, it’s important to remember that the game is in its alpha state. That means that there is still a lot more that will be added to Untitled Trip.
On top of that, the game has a lot of bugs that will hopefully be papered over with time.
Singleplayer And Multiplayer
When you begin Untitled Trip, you’ll have the option to choose between singleplayer and multiplayer. The standard game will be in single player, but multiplayer is also a really decent option if you want to play with friends.
You can make rooms here to play with your friends or even join other players in public rooms. A really great addition that was not available in Dusty Trip.
Basic Mechanics
When you start Untitled Trip, you’ll want to start by opening doors and exploring the house. You can do this by holding the LMB and then moving the mouse left or right to control the door.
In this way, you can access all the rooms in the game. This includes a backroom that you can access via some stairs by going outside to the back of the house.
Similarly, to pick up items, you can hover your cursor over them and press the F button. This includes food that you can find all around the house.
To actually eat the food, you will need to hold the LMB instead of tapping it, so keep that in mind when your Hunger is low. As of now, Hunger acts like your health in the game.
Setting Up Car
The main feature of the house is the garage and the car that is parked in front of it in Untitled Trip. This car can either be fully or partly assembled, depending on the game you join.
If it is partly assembled you will need to assemble it yourself. To do this, you will need to locate the relevant parts in the garage and put them on your car.
Here are some of the parts that you’ll need to put on your car in Untitled Trip:
- Wheels and Tires
- Both of these items are separate
- Place the wheel first followed by the tire
- Fuel or Gas
- Battery or Engine
- Open the hood to place these items in the car
- Headlights
- Bumpers.
You’ll find a lot of parts in the garage and not all of these are necessary, like the headlights and bumpers. But, of course, we strongly suggest you have them as they’ll make the experience much easier.
Finally, be sure to bring a weapon like an Axe with you. You can actually attach weapons and other items to the car using the Z key.
When you end up needing them, you can just detach them from the car.
Just be careful when you’re handling the Axe. Since it’s so buggy, swinging the axe around can sometimes cause you to die as well!
Driving And Combat
Once you have the car fixed and set up, it’s time to go on a trip. To get in the car, simply open the door and get in. Be sure to have your hunger full when you do so by eating food.
After that, you can start the car by pressing R to turn on the ignition. Hold R again so that you can start the engine and actually start driving.
You also have two buttons on the dashboard that you can use. One of them turns on the headlights and interior lights while the other turns on wipers.
There is also a handbrake that you can find on the right side of your seat. Use it when you park the car when you are driving to ensure that the car does not move on a slope.
Next, you can set off and drive the car. Driving is a little buggy at the moment so you might feel a lot of shaking. The developers have said they will deal with these glitches soon.
While driving, you’ll come upon buildings like towers. Inside these towers, you can come across Mutants that will try to kill you when you get near them.
When you approach a building, make sure to equip your weapon. You can kill these Mutants by swinging the axe at them. The combat is a bit buggy and can cause your axe to get lodged into the enemies.
So, you’ll need to recover the axe back from walking Mutants which can be annoying. Be sure to keep an eye on your Hunger bar when you’re in a fight so that you do not die. Usually, you can regain health if you can prevent yourself from getting hit.
While driving, also pay attention to rocks and other obstacles. If you drive into them, your car can get broken completely. So, you’ll want to avoid this at all costs.
That’s everything you need to know for the complete beginner’s guide of Untitled Trip. Now you know how you can play this brand new game. As the game progresses, we can expect new content and additions, with hopefully bug fixes!
