Crystal of Atlan features a variety of classes that you can choose from. These classes are suitable for different play styles and will dictate the kind of build you go towards. Your choice of class is crucial – whether you’re playing PvE or PvP. Of course, different classes have different values across the content you use them for. This is the case for PvP – which is often more competitive and even has a pro scene. In this guide, we’ll be ranking how the classes stack up against each other in PvP by putting them in a tier list. Let’s get into it!
PvP Tier List
There are a total of 11 classes that you can use in the Global Release of Crystal of Atlan. We’ll be ranking each of these classes strictly for the PvP content. Of course, the rankings are based on our opinions – so it is highly likely you do not agree with us.
In the end, you should go for the characters that you enjoy playing and that suit your play style. Besides that, being able to use mechanics is also crucial for PvP. You can check out our pvp guide for noobs – for some tips that you might not have known.
With that said, here is the Crystal of Atlan PvP Tier List.

S Tier
- Gunner has superior range which allows her to damage opponents from most places on the map. If she takes space in the middle, it can be difficult for you to move around. On top of that, her Flamethrower is really strong and can help you reach the HP threshold very easily while giving you Super Armor.
- Most of Starbreaker‘s attacks have Medium SA, which means in most cases you will need to dodge her attacks. She also deals devastating damage and is one of the few characters that can parry. It’s no wonder she’s used by the majority of the Top 100 players in Crystal of Atlan.
A Tier
- Cloudstrider has so many abilities with Medium Armor and her change forms have strong Super Armor. These abilities can absolutely devastate the opponents and take their HP down fast. She’s quite similar to Starbreaker but her kit is a bit more complicated to use.
- The Scytheguard has a lot to offer – especially when it comes to engages in PvP. She is also a solid pick against meta classes like Starbreaker and Gunner. Quite a few of her abilities can also insta down enemies. At medium range, she is one of the best classes.
- Even if you’re across the map, the Magiblade will find you. This class has so much dashes which allow it to dodge and move around quickly – allowing him to dodge dangerous situations. His abilities can also catch most people at medium range, making him really strong.
- The Blademaiden has insane range courtesy of her puppet – especially when it comes to engages. She can also deal extra damage provided she positions the puppet correctly. The only issue with her is that she requires high skill since everything relies on the puppet’s position.
B Tier
- Elementalist is a pretty good class but it has a distinct lack of medium armor. He has only a couple of really good abilities which don’t make up for the rest of the kit. On top of that, he also lacks in mobility which can be an issue in PvP. However, he can definitely hold his own because of burst damage – if you play him from range in PvP.
- With the introduction of the newer classes, the Berserker is not as strong as he used to be. A lot of his abilities have medium armor, but his engages are just not as strong anymore. His range is also limited and he does not have the mobility to make up for it. However, you can still do a lot of damage with his basic attacks and skills.
- The Bounty Hunter can do lots of damage with her abilities, but her basic attacks are very weak. As a result, you will need to consume energy to knock up enemies in the air for juggles. She does have abilities that can keep enemies in the air though, so that’s a plus. However, since she’s so reliant on abilities, her engages can be predictable.
- Magician has a very high skill ceiling, with his kit being so complicated to use. You have a lot of options are your disposal but the cards you get are RNG. As a result, you need to be someone who’s good at improvising with that they have. Since most players are not experienced with him, he can be predictable to fight.
- Most players tend to misuse the Warlock by playing him offensively when he is a defensive character. You should never take engages with him – which is a style that doesn’t suit many players. On top of that, certain classes like the Gunner can destroy him as they can simply hurt him from a distance.
That’s everything you need to know for the Crystal of Atlan PvP Tier List. Again, these rankings are based on our own preferences and experiences. You should keep in mind that many of the low tier classes have high skill ceilings. If you can master them, they can easily become the best class for you – as they have for many players in the pro scene!
