Playing with default controls is the way developers want you to play their games. However, you don’t have to listen to that. That is completely optional. If the settings aren’t enough, change them! Adjust the game to the best settings that will be comfortable for you as the player. However, that doesn’t apply to other games, like F1 22. The best settings for racing games are different for each game, but we will show you how to be the best with the best controller settings in F1 22.

Best Controller Settings Guide – F1 22

Playing the game at the best settings is every gamer’s dream. But getting to those settings can often take hours of troubleshooting and testing in order to do so. For F1 22, we can show you how to do it in under 10 minutes.

First off is the ERS Mode setting. This option is completely up to you, the player. There’s no definitive way for the ERS Mode, as both the Hold and Toggle options have very strong pros that don’t outweigh each other.

Next up is the Steering Saturation. This is important, as this dictates how your steering is affected. If you feel like your controller is experiencing a drift, and not the Tokyo Drift kind, or is just too stiff to use, then adjusting the Steering Saturation helps. This setting will allow you to steer effectively, despite the issues with your controller.

The same thing can be said for the Steering Deadzone. Adjusting this setting can help eliminate the drifting your control is experiencing for F1 22.

Steering Linearity is a setting that helps you turn corners easier when slowing down. You can adjust this setting from 0 to 25 in order to get a feel of the difference and adjust it again to your preferred setting.

Throttle Linearity and Brake Linearity must be adjusted together. Both settings must be at equal settings, so if your Throttle is at 50, then so must your Brakes. This is just to avoid any issues when driving because the Throttle and Brakes are the most used buttons in the game.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
