As part of the Genshin Impact update 5.2, we have some really interesting quests added to the game. These include Tribal Chronicle quests that help compliment the World Quests we are familiar with. One such quest is the Legendary Color quest.
As part of this quest, you’ll need to find some hidden dyes using Iktomisaur’s special elemental sight. However, this part can be a bit confusing as players have tried to use the sight but nothing happens. We’ll show you exactly what you need to do to reveal the dyes.
Try Using the Iktomisaur’s Special Elemental Sight Guide
For the Using the Iktomisaur’s Special Elemental Sight objective you’ll need to go to the right cave. This is the same cave you can access after revealing and breaking the wall with the red mark.
Once you’re in this cave, you’ll need to use the same elemental sight again. However, you might be trying to do exactly this and getting no progress.
This is because you will need to use the special Elemental Sight in a specific spot. This spot is marked in the image below. If you use it in any other area, the hidden dyes will not get revealed.
Once you use the elemental sight in this area, three new dyes will appear around you. If they don’t try to look around while you’re in the elemental sight so that they appear on your radar. They will also be marked with a red marker.
Now approach each of the colors and extract them. The blue and red dyes in our case are shown below. It is possible that the dyes might be in different places for you, so just watch out for that.
Below is also an image of the yellow dye, so you know where to grab that too. Once you extract all the three dyes, a small cutscene will play. From here, you will be able to continue with the Legendary Color quest.
