Jailbreak is a Roblox game based on the popular gamemode “cops and robbers”. In it, criminals perform robberies after escaping Prison, while police try to stop them and arrest them.
In the Winter 2023 update, a new robbery has been added called Oil Rig. We’ll walk you through the steps of successfully and easily beating this new robbery!
Oil Rig Robbery Update Guide
The new Oil Rig robbery takes place in the new Crater City area.
First off, it is recommended to bring boats as there are turrets that shoot down anything that flies. You can find a boat near the Power Plant.
Make sure to bring weapons as you’ll need to fight off Bandits while you make your way through the robbery. You’ll get timed explosives, which you can place in certain areas of the map.
The main focus of the robbery is to find stashed oil and successfully get away with it. The explosives are to blow up the oil rig, so you’ll need to get the oil fast and get out so you don’t get blown up.
There are 4 rooms that contain the oil:
- Room 1 – Which requires hacking.
- Room 2 – Which requires a keycard.
- Room 3 – Which requires 2 players to unlock and has a keycard inside.
- For this reason, we absolutely recommend playing with a friend.
- Room 4 – Which requires a keycard.
The interesting thing about Room 4 is that inside, you can disable the guns on the roof so that you can use a helicopter to escape.
But even if you don’t do that, you can still escape and successfully beat the robbery by just finding a boat and sailing away!
