If you’re a player who likes to go around and PVP with others for the fun of it, you might experience your name turning red. While this is cool to look at, the red name is an indicator of excessive PVP points that has a string of caveats.
How To Remove Red Name | MIR4
Having a red name in game limits your experience earned, disables Fast travel and severe death penalties when you die. So it’s better to avoid getting it as much as possible, but if you do and want to remove it, there is a way.
There is only one way to do this, you simply need to find monsters within 5 levels of your character and kill those monsters until your name turns back to white.
Killing monsters increases your propensity points and once it levels back to zero, the red name will disappear.
It’s much more tedious than just avoiding it throughout. If you’re someone who just casually enjoys PVP, you wouldn’t need to worry since it takes a long time to earn negative points that gives you the red name.
However, if your whole point of playing the game is PVP, you either can use this method or not care about the repercussions at all.
Still, it’s a great way to go back to normal if you’re already down the PVP path!
