Despite being added in a much older update, the Garden Merchant in Pet Simulator 99 is often forgotten by many players. Whether it’s due to it not being as good as the other merchant or simply because people don’t want to bother with the flower garden. Many tend to ignore this mechanic. However, there are some upsides to leveling it up, and this guide will show you why!

Why You Should Level Up Garden Merchant Guide

The Garden Merchant can be found in the Flower Field biome, which is Area #54. Just like every other merchant in the game, you will have to max out their reputation. As you level up the Garden Merchant, you will eventually gain access to Diamond Plant seeds.

These are the reason why you should be leveling it up. Basically, the Diamond Plant seeds will let you earn extra diamonds passively. At respect level 5, you will have a chance of getting two Diamond Plant seeds at a very discounted price. Which further increases your profits.

The Flower Garden Minigame

When you’re just starting off with leveling up the merchant, you will mostly only be getting access to Coin Plant and Potion Plant seeds.

These are not that great once you can stock up on tons of Diamond Plant seeds. But you may as well use them while you can. In order to do so, you have to enter the Flower Garden minigame right beside the Garden Merchant. This little space will have several unlockable plots for you to plant your seeds.

At the beginning, you will only have access to four free plots. There are several more that you can unlock inside this greenhouse, and they will each have an increasing diamond value.

For the purposes of diamond generation later on, it is recommended that you buy at least the plots worth 10,000 and 50,000. The rest are too expensive, and it will take a long time to recoup the costs.

So basically, you just have to upgrade the Garden Merchant to their max level. Then, you will be able to buy a whole lot of Diamond Plant seeds that you can immediately use to populate all these plots.

Each of these will take roughly 2 and a half hours to grow (or faster if watered or treated with an instaplant capsule). And they can net you around 5000 to 20,000 diamonds each.

To top this off, the merchant refreshes its stock every hour. If you have the time to keep coming back to them every now and then, you can essentially generate diamonds endlessly. This is because you’ll never run out of seeds.

And that is pretty much why you need to max out the Garden Merchant in Pet Simulator 99. Again, this is mainly a passive diamond farming method. If you need even more of these, check out our guide on the best way to farm diamonds in the game.
