Super Mario Wonder is a side-scrolling adventure that brings the world of Mario back to the 2d space, and there are tons of levels and a variety of playable characters. In each world, there are entrances to the Special World that you can unlock by doing various tasks. Here’s how you can find all seven of them in the game.
All 7 Special World Level Entrances Locations
Before you can open up some of these entrances, you will have to complete certain worlds or go through some secret exits within specific levels.
If you haven’t finished the game yet, we recommend focusing on that first so that you can be in the post-game section of Super Mario Wonder and you can easily come back to all of these.
World 1 – Pipe-Rock Plateau
In the first world, you must make your way to the Bulrush Express level. Here, you have to make it to the end of the level with the Elephant form in order to open the secret exit.
Going through this secret pipe will unlock a series of new levels that you have to complete, and these will lead up to the entrance to the Special World.
World 2 – Fluff-Puff Peaks
For the second world, you don’t have to do anything special in order to unlock the path to the Special World entrance. A path will just open up in the middle of the map leading up to the entrance itself.
However, you may need to be in the post-game state for it to show up, so go and finish the game first and come back to this later on once you’ve done that.
World 3 – Shining Falls
The third world is fairly straightforward. Basically, you have to complete the map first and then return to the Royal Seed Mansion.
Upon entering the mansion after completing the region, you will get a brief cutscene. After this cutscene, a path to the Special World entrance should open up.
World 4 – Sunbaked Desert
For the fourth world, you must return to the Secrets of Shova Mansion level and get near the end. There, you have to destroy a series of blocks and push a platform into the small opening you just made.
This will reveal a secret pipe that you should go through. Finish the level through this way and you’ll eventually unlock the path to the Special World entrance.
World 5 – Fungi Mine
Another fairly straightforward one, the Special World entrance in the fifth world can be opened up by simply returning to the Operation Poplin Rescue level.
After finishing the level, a second time, you will get a brief cutscene and the pathway to the Special World should open up afterwards.
World 6 – Deep Magma Bog
The sixth world requires quite a bit of work to get through, though it isn’t particularly complicated or difficult. First, you have to make your way to the bottom left portion of the region.
Here, you’ll have to complete a series of levels going to the left. The entrance to the Special World should be right at the end of this linear path.
World 7 – Petal Isles
Finally, in the seventh world, you simply have to complete the Wiggler Race Spelunking! level in order to get a brief cutscene.
Following this, the portal to the Special World should open up in the area right above this level.
And that’s pretty much how you find all the entrances to the Special World in each world for Super Mario Wonder. Now, get out there and start enjoying Super Mario Wonder’s post-game content!
