The Legend of Zelda games have never really played with gear sets until Breath of the Wild came out. Since Breath of the Wild took the game through a more RPG turn with weapon and armor stats, it’s no surprise that we also get gear sets.
In Tears of the Kingdom, we get even more gear sets that allows us to customize the way Link looks to make him unique to the player, like with the Fierce Deity set. In this guide, I’ll show you where you can get the armor set for you to wear.
Get Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity Side Quest
Before you start, you will need to start the Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity. But to do that, you will need to complete the Misko’s Cave of Chests side quest, which can be found here in the Cephla Lake Cave.
Once you make it to the location, speak to Domidak and Prissen, who are two treasure hunters sitting outside of the cave.
After talking to the two treasure hunters, go inside the cave and look for this chest in particular. It will contain the treasure required to complete the Misko’s Cave of Chests side quest.
After getting the treasure chest open and obtaining the loot inside, Domidak and Prissen will open another chest, which contains a message in the bottle. Reading the message will reveal a riddle from the legendary bandit, Misko. This also starts the side quest to find the gear set.
Fierce Deity Boots Location
The first gear set we will go for is the Fierce Deity Boots, which can be found in the Ancient Tree Stump Cave, just north of Mount Daphnes.
Dive into the tree stump and glide all of the way down until you reach the water. Once you are in the water, look for this entrance that is covered by vines.
Once you have entered through the entrance, climb up until you see another entrance covered by vines.
Cut down the vines and open the chest to get the Fierce Deity Boots.
Fierce Deity Armor Location
The next gear piece is the Fierce Deity Armor, which can be found in the Akkala Citadel Ruins Summit Cave.
In the ruins, look for a hole in the corner of the wall that you can crouch through. This will lead you to a hole that you can jump in to enter the cave under the ruins.
In the cave, you will land directly in front of the treasure chest that contains the Fierce Deity Armor.
Fierce Deity Mask Location
The next gear piece will be the Fierce Deity Mask, which is located in the Skull Lake Cave. The cave is located inside the tall pillar. You will need to get up high enough to glide towards the top of the pillar.
Once inside, there will be enemies as you go through the area. Come prepared, as they will attack when you get near them.
You will soon find a wall that looks breakable. Use any explosive you have to break the wall open and continue.
Inside the cave, you will find a large boss enemy called Stalnox. You can either fight it or don’t, it doesn’t really matter. You can still climb up to the chest regardless.
Open the chest and you will get the Fierce Deity Mask, which is the last of the armor set.
Fierce Deity Sword Location
Now that we have all of the armor pieces, the last thing we need to get is the Fierce Deity Sword, which is actually hidden behind a wall back in the Cephla Lake Cave.
Once you enter the cave, a small cutscene will play, showing you the wall opening. Behind it, you will find a chest that contains the Fierce Deity Sword, as well as another message in the bottle. Open the chest to get the weapon and the quest will be completed as you have finally found all of the pieces for the Fierce Deity set.
And that’s all there is to finding all of the Fierce Deity gear pieces. Were you able to find all of the gear pieces? Let us know in the comments below.
