Final Fantasy XVI offers a variety of crafting materials that players can farm and use to create various items in the game. One of those materials is the Electrum. What better way to obtain it than by slaying the Severian?
In this article, I will show you a walkthrough on how to obtain Electrum by killing the Severian. Prepare yourself for another boss fight.
Electrum / Severian Location
The Severian is one of the many enemies that are posted in the Hunt Board. But, it will only be available after you complete the quest called Martha’s Rest. Killing the boss will drop the Electrum, an essential crafting material for mid-game to end-game items.
Here’s what you need to do to find the Severian and obtain an Electrum:
- First, you need to find the exact location of the Severian. It is found in the North of Sorrowise, near the quest called Martha’s Rest. You can fast-travel to the location once you have unlocked the quest. The exact location is shown in the picture below.
- Reaching the location of the boss, the fight will immediately start if you get close enough. The Severian is not that hard to kill. All you need to do is dodge its range attacks and AoE attacks. Also, the Severian will dash at you.
- If you’re level 25+, you can take down the boss easy peezy. Just time your attacks right and avoid all AoE and ranged attacks. Once you defeat the Severian, you will be rewarded with the Electrum.
Remember to kill all the bosses found in the Hunt Board. Start collecting all the crafting materials for end-game items. Complete quests to unlock more enemies on the Hunt Board.
