Crafting in survival games go hand-in-hand like peanut butter and jelly, or guns and FPS games, or cute anime girls and successful MMOs. That’s why in Undawn, there’s a lot of crafting and cooking that you can do in the game. Some of these recipes are even needed to complete some of the quests and part of that is looking for the materials or ingredients!
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find tomatoes in Undawn and how to cook the Tomato Vegetable Noodles! Now, get ready for some running and exploring to find those tomatoes!
How To Make Tomato Vegetable Noodles & Tomato Location
At one point in the game, you’ll get a quest to make some Tomato Vegetable Noodles. To do this, you’ll need some tomatoes which can be found in the wild.
Here are the steps we’ll be taking to find some tomatoes in the game and how to make the noodles:
- Go to a tier 2 map are like the Central Plains.
- Look for the wild berries icons (orange apple icon) using the map markers.
- Go to those places and find tomatoes.
- Go to a grill and cook with a Tomato and a Chinese Cabbage.
- Finish cooking the Tomato and Vegetable Noodles!

You’ll need some tomatoes for this recipe and the easiest way to find them is to go into the wilds. You’ll need to be in a Tier 2 map like the Central Plains to find some. Once in that map you can go to the map menu and click on the icon on the lower right to show the resource icons shown below.
The chances of tomatoes to spawn is lower than the berries that spawn in the same areas. So, it’s up to RNG if you get tomatoes. The plants look like tall bushes with orange and red dots around it show on the image below.
Once you get the tomatoes you can then go to the nearest Grill or to your homestead’s and start cooking. You’ll also need a Chinese Cabbage for this recipe, and you can get one from the market.
Once in the cooking menu just place a Tomato and Chinese Cabbage and that should let you cook a Tomato and Vegetable Noodle dish! Cook it and that should be good for the quest!
