Slaughterspine is one of the machine monsters that you will encounter in Horizon Forbidden West. They can be dangerous to fight against after they charge up. There are a total of three Slaughterspines and you can find their locations using this guide.
Slaughterspine Locations – Horizon Forbidden West
Slaughterspines is a heavyweight, combat machine that will turn hostile when you go near it. Be careful when it charges up its Plasma Energizers because it can deal a lot of damage afterward.
The best way to defeat the Slaughterspines is to use Frost and Purgewater damage.
NOTE: The Slaughterspine is extremely strong against Fire, Shock, Acid, and Plasma damage.
Below are all the locations of the Slaughterspines on the map.
- The first Slaughterspine is on the west of the Maw of the Arena area. You can find the Slaughterspine site in the photo above.
- For the next Slaughterspine site, go to the Legacy’s Landfall and head northwest to the edge of the beach. You will find a huge Slaughterspine here in the beach ruins.
- Go back to the Legacy’s Landfall and head southwest this time. You should find the Slaughterspine near the river.
Slaughterspine can be dangerous when charged up so be sure to unleash your attacks before they charge up!
