The entrance to the Volcano is located at the mouth of the skull. This entrance is blocked by a boulder. As a result, you will need a strong pickaxe to shorten the time in this biome and minimize damage from overheating from the biome.
Then, keep going deeper into the cave and look for the Ancient Gate. This Gate is quite big so you will be able to find it easily. After that, use the pickaxe to break the Gate to keep progressing further into the area. On breaking the Gate, you will obtain 2-4 Stones.
Keep heading deeper, paying attention to any magmas and enemies, until you see the Boss – The Titan.
How to Kill The Titan
We heavily recommend that you fight this boss with a Kingdom. This is a feature in-game that allows you to group up and form alliances with other players. This will make your experience easier since this boss is very difficult to defeat on your own.
In private servers, the Titan does not spawn. This boss only spawns in Public servers, even if the servers aren’t very populated. It is recommended for you to join small servers since it reduces your chances of being attacked by enemy players. The Titan Boss is a little bit taller than an average player. He uses a black spear in his hand and wears armor that resembles the look of the darksteel armor.
Now, let’s learn about the moves of the boss, all of these moves will ignore your armor. Apart from the boss’ usual melee attacks, you’ll also see him do the Rage Mode, Invincibility, and Stomp Abilities. During Rage Mode, he will show a red outline around his body, and this will allow the boss to deal x2 damage.
The next ability you may want to pay attention to is his Invincibility Ability. This will turn him into a blue color, which means that you will not be able to deal damage to him in any way. After his invincibility ends, the Titan will scream again to enter his rage mode..
Before going into Invincibility Mode, you may be able to see him perform the Stomp Attack. During this attack, the boss will stomp on the ground, releasing a huge area of effect damage around him that deals 20 damage to any target hit.
Your best strategy for fighting this boss is simply paying attention to all his moves and trying to avoid it to minimize damage taken. Remember to move back and forth away from him to potentially dodge his attacks. You can also dodge his normal melee attacks by jumping if you cannot get away from him in time.
Your next tip is to attack the Titan while he is screaming. Whenever he is in his invincibility mode, run away from him and eat to heal yourself up with Cabbages, which is an easy item to get. If you are low on health, ask a teammate to tank the bosses’ attacks until you heal back up!
On defeating this Boss, you will be able to obtain 3 additional obsidian and 4 chunks of obsidian ore will spawn. These ores drop 4-8 obsidians per ore based on your mining level. These ores are something you can use a pickaxe to mine with. With obsidian, you will be able to make darksteel equipment. As of now, Darksteel is the best material you can get in the game and is the rarest since you can only get this from the Titan Boss.
