Events in Genshin Impact are fun occasions for players to experience new content, minigames, story quests as well as trying out characters they don’t have. These events take place at various times during the year such as New Year, Christmas as well as other in-game events for each of the regions in Teyvat.
Summer is no exception since in patch 3.8 we get to see the Secret Summer Paradise even quests. During this quest, you get to talk to your favorite characters and participate in fascinating puzzles. One of the objectives you need to complete is to Enter the Preprint and Get the Component. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can solve the Streaming Projector’s puzzle and accomplish this part of the quest.
Enter the Preprint & Get the Component Guide
When you first get to the area, you will need to push the two crates around you. You will see one on your left and one on your right. You will need to interact with them to push each of them once. This will allow you to move the crates reflection on the blue screen.
If you get stuck, come out of the preprint world, move the box in front of you, then go back and your way will be free.
After you have interacted with one of the two crates, head to the other one and do the same. This will allow you to move the Crate’s reflection in the Preprint’s World. This crate will later act as a platform for you to jump on top of and get to higher places in the 2D world.
In the image down below, you will see yourself spawning in the middle left corner of the map. You will want to jump on top of that crate to the very left of your screen to get to the higher area. There will be a platform that we’ve noted for you that says ‘Stay on Top”. While you stand on this, the platform will automatically move upwards, allowing you to reach the higher area.
The squares indicate chests that you may also want to obtain along the way. These rewards may be small but they do add up so you do not want to miss out on any of them. One of these chests will contain the Old Gear, which is the main component that you are looking for in this quest.
That is how you complete the Enter the Preprint & Get the Component Quest in Genshin Impact. Once you get out of the quest, you’ll be able to start a conversation with Idyia. She will then later tell you that there are three more components missing. As you find the components, explore and have fun with the puzzles. They will for sure be more challenging and more fun to play with!
