Tree Sentinel Boss – Elden RIng
The Tree Sentinel is an optional boss that you can challenge in the Elden Ring.
You can find this boss in Limgrave, extremely close to the very first area. From the first step, go northeast. You will find the boss roaming near the Church of Elleh and the Gatefront Ruins.
The Tree Sentinel has an amount and uses a shield and halberd when it comes to attacking. Even though it is not as big compared to other bosses, it can have great mobility and defense because of its mount.
The attacks of the Tree Sentinel are simple: he will perform swooping attacks using its Halberd while moving with its mount. It can also use its mount to stomp on you. Those are the two most basic attacks of the Tree Sentinel.
What you want to do is to time your dodge when he swings the Halberd so it misses you. You can also just dodge to the side when it charges towards you or try to stomp you.
Attack the Tree Sentinel when it raises its halberd to interfere with some of its combos. Defeating the Sentinel will give you the Golden Halberd.
