Core Mechanics in Exoprimal

Active Abilities

  • Ravager: An assault rifle that can be fired full-auto. Aim down the sights to increase its accuracy.
  • Rifle Grenade: A grenade round that explodes on impact.
  • Dive Dodge: Performs an evasive roll. Use [W][A][S][D] to change direction.
  • Thrust Attack: A powerful strike that knocks back enemies. Charge to increase impact and range.
  • OD: Cluster Salvo: Deploys multiple heavy weapons built into your armor that unleash overwhelming firepower straight ahead

Mechanics

Most players charge the Thrust Attack for 2 seconds to fully maximize its damage. However, this attack can be fully charged with only 1 second, indicated with your arms lighting up.

Moreover, this attack deals two forms of damage. You will hit Shockwave damage when enemies are relatively close but not in direct hit of your first. Direct damage on the other hand is as its name implies, when they are directly hit with your fist. This attack also deals bonus damage.

Builds

Here are our recommended builds for Deadeye. Whether you’re looking forward to killing dinosaurs, big or small in the PvE or shooting other players in the PvP. Let’s jump right into it!

Player vs Player (PvP)

For PvP, the recommended Modules are Damage Chain, Shot Grenade and Dive Dodge+.

Damage Chain on the first slot as you’d spend more time shooting than using your grenades or thrust attack against other players. This is also very helpful against tank shields. Shot Grenade for long, precise poking abilities, and interrupt revives and objectives. Finally, Dive Dodge gives longer dodge distance and 50% damage reduction is very useful when against other players.

PvP in Exoprimal

Player vs Environment (PvE)

Our recommended Modules for PvE are Recharger, Piercing Thrust and Reload Dodge.

This combination of modules deals as much damage as possible thru constant use of grenade launcher and thrust attacks. The Piercing Thrust module is very helpful against the dinosaurs because you will have higher chance of staggering them and exposing their weak points. Furthermore, the cooldown reduction will be very helpful as there will be overwhelming hordes in the later stages of the game.

PvE in Exoprimal

Overall, Deadeye is a beginner friendly and strong Exosuit that is capable of doing a variety of skills that can be used in every type of situation.
