Having a spirit companion on your side can certainly come in handy, particularly while combating the bosses. You’ll encounter many spirits during the game, but not all of them are worth obtaining. However, that’s not the case with the Cleanrot Knight Finlay since this spirit falls into the Legendary category, which allows it to deal and sustain more damage.
You’ll be able to summon Cleanrot Knight Finlay with 127 FP, and this spirit can do melee and magic damage, which can be rather beneficial when you end up in a chaotic situation where multiple enemies surround you. Let’s move on to the guide, where we’ll show you how and where to find her ashes.
Cleanrot Knight Finlay Legendary Summon Location – Elden Ring
First, you’ll need to reach the Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, a Legacy Dungeon in the northern part of the map. Keep in mind that you will need to defeat Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree, to access the elevator and move on.
When you arrive, go to the Prayer Room Site of Grace (unlocked once you defeat Loretta), leave the room through the right passage, and keep going forward.
Eventually, you’ll reach the stars, so take those on the right and head down.
From there, you’ll see a marble gazebo, so jump down again and take the doors on the left side to enter the room with lots of spider webs and candles.
A Cleanrot Knight will spawn, and you’ll have to defeat her to obtain her ashes, so once you do, just take the ashes from the chest inside of the room, and you’re good to go!
