For those who don’t want to go the Comet Azur route, there is another powerful sorcery you can utilize as an endgame magic that might strike your fancy. Elden Ring’s magic arsenal, like that of the other Soulsborne games, caters to plenty of builds and needs. This spell is a wide AOE that would come in handy if you get surrounded by mobs, plenty of them can kill you if you let them get too close.
Meteorite Of Astel Spell Location – Elden Ring
As the lore suggests, this is the power Astel used to level the Eternal City, and while it doesn’t do such devastating effects when you wield it, it’s still a very powerful control spell that every sorcerer build covets. To get the spell, you must first travel to the Site of Grace in the Consecrated Snowfield named Yelough Anix Tunnel.
After getting to this Site of Grace, just go through the tunnel itself, being careful to jump down the platforms to get to the lower levels of the room. Once you get to a crevice that has wooden platforms along the walls, jump across until you find a ladder. Be careful of the ambushes along the way.
Once you climb the second ladder, just move forward (there really is only one path in this place) until you reach the big, wooden gates. In here, you’ll find Astel, a huge dragonfly-like monster that will shoot laser beams and such at you. It would be hard to deal with this monster with magic as it’s a bit resistant to it so buckle up your belts and wield a sword.
After beating Astel, you’ll get the Meteorite of Astel spell which shares its animation and effects as the version he used against you while you’re fighting him.
