The new Fontaine update is finally here in Genshin Impact. It has been 84 years, you and me, and we’re dying to start grinding the new boss. If you’re a Lyney haver, you probably want to quickly get to unlock this boss now. That’s because the Emperor’s Resolution is the main boss material Lyney needs to ascend.
We’ll show you where to find the Emperor of Fire and Iron in the new Fontaine region!
Emperor of Fire and Iron Location
The new underground map is a god-given feature because that’s where the Emperor of Fire and Iron is. First, you need to go to this spot here. To make things easier, mark this area temporarily so you can see it while sailing.
On the map, you can also choose to mark the boss as the diving spot isn’t far off.
The easiest way to go here if you have not unlocked any of the waypoints nearby is to ride on the aquabus that starts from Romaritime Harbour. The same one that you rode during the Archon Quest when you first came here.
Then hop out at the closest point to the boss. You’ll see the surface Waypoint that you can immediately activate here. Then dive in and find the trench exactly at this location as show below. There’s also a time challenge you can do on your way down.
Continue diving deep into this trench and you’ll end up back on surface where the boss is located.
