Stranger of Paradise brings a fresh take on Final Fantasy 1’s iconic story along with jobs that are well loved by everyone.
While in the older entries of the franchise, you are bound by the class you choose from the get go save for upgrading into the more advanced jobs, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, gives you a unique class switching function that is mostly seen through the MMO FFXIV.
This is good news for those who want to try out different classes before deciding on their main one so read on to find out how it works!
How To Change Job
Changing jobs in this game is as easy as changing your armor, literally.
First you need to access the battle menu and select your job to see which one you’d like to change to next. While all jobs are unlocked for Jack, his companions are another story.
The rest of your party are given their starting classes and they cannot be changed aside from upgrading to an advanced class within their respective trees.
To check out which classes would be available for them, simply press the r2 button on the battle menu to cycle through the teammate you’d like then go to their job to select and advance the job.
Pretty straightforward and doesn’t need too much thought. Do note that changing your allies’ job would only be unlocked after you’re done with the Audience With The Dark Elf mission.
