In Wayfinder, you can team up with your friends and take on a plethora of missions and expeditions to fight against enemies that have taken over the planet. The game features a massive open world that can be explored to reveal secrets.
There are different currencies present in the game that tend to confuse players. One of these is the Helper Coins, which this guide will be focusing on.
How To Farm Helper Coin
Unlock Helper Coins
Helper Coins are not accessible to players at the start of the game and need to be unlocked. For this, you will need to head over to the Gloomsphere and check the available quest in the Undercroft Area.
You will need to have the Argent Hand quest, which is a main quest for the progression of the game’s storyline.
Once you complete the quest by defeating the boss, you will need to report to Wolf. He is located in the little club area that is right next to your house in the game.
Wolf will tell you about Helper Coins when you talk to him after completing the quest. These coins are essentially a currency that incentivizes experienced players to help new players.
How to Get Helper Coins
To get these coins, you will need to help new players, as mentioned previously. For this, head over to the Gloomsphere, and you will see a new option on the top right. This option will allow you to join the Helper Queue in order to help beginners at the game.
By selecting this option, matchmaking will begin, and you will eventually be assigned to a group of players in a random dungeon.
At this point, all that you have to do is to help the players complete the dungeon. Once the dungeon is completed, you will receive your rewards which will include Helper Coins.
As seen in the image above we received six Helper Coins for completing the quest. As far as we know this is the highest amount of coins that you can receive in one go.
The lowest that we have seen players get is a single coin. The reason for this disparity might be due to the difficulty level of the dungeons. What we are trying to say is that higher-level dungeons provide more of these coins.
How to Use Helper Coins
Once you have received Helper Coins go back and talk to Wolf. Now when you interact with him, you will see the option to trade Helper Coins. Selecting this will open his shop where you can trade Helper Coins for different items.
As seen in the image above, you can see the Blue, Red, and Grey Gloomstones. Moreover, you can also exchange the coins for either a Trcikster or Skeleton Key.
In our opinion, the Trickster Key is the most economical and useful option since you can use this in dungeons. Simply hand this over to the NPC, and he/she will allow you to choose items from one of the three chests.
We hope that this guide was helpful to you. Let us know in the comments below if you have any questions or suggestions for future content.
